The Olweus Anti-Bullying Program is more than a program; it is a way of living. Students are taught the signs of bullying and encouraged to intervene if they see someone being bullied by telling a grown-up who can help. This program is facilitated and monitored by teachers who hold weekly classroom meetings to instruct and discuss the issues surrounding bullying behaviors and how to diffuse those behaviors. Bullying is never to be tolerated, and it is our hope at A. Z. Kelley that all of our students will be champions of anyone who is being bullied, not only in the school community, but in the community of life.
