How do I request assistance with a service or file a complaint about a concern?

Where does my child attend school?
Click Find Our Schools or call us at 259-INFO. Be prepared to provide your address including your house number.
Which documents are required to register for school?
- Birth Certificate or acceptable proof of age - (Tennessee Office of Vital Records)
- Immunization (shot record) must be up-to-date and on a Tennessee Certificate of Immunization Form
- Physical (within 12 months of school starting)
- Proof of Residency (current utility bill, lease, etc.) must be resident of Davidson County
- Social Security Card or number (optional)
Where can I see information and test results on my child's school?
Choose School List under the Schools tab on home page to find your child's school and click on "Profile" to see information. In addition, you may click on the school name and you will be linked to the school's web site or click or "Map" and see the school's zone.
Is my child eligible for transportation and where is the bus stop for my home?
Click Buses & Transportation, read, and follow the directions. Or call us at 259-INFO.
What choices do I have beyond the school to which my child is zoned? Click School Choice to find options. We recommend visiting schools to find the best fit for your child.
How can I check my child's Acceptance and Wait List status?
Please have the student's ID number and click here.

For information on obtaining school records, click here. If you simply need to verify a student's receipt of diploma, send a fax requesting that information to our Records Department at 291-6098.
