Course Offerings- Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 Software 

Intro to Computers
Explores the basic skills needed to use a computer including understanding the equipment, moving around within the programs, opening and saving documents, and much more.

Intro to the Internet
Introduces the basics in navigating the World Wide Web including using search engines and hyperlinks. Participants will also set up their own free email account and learn how to send/receive email.

Beginning Microsoft Word
Offers the basics in word processing including creating letters, formatting text, and editing documents.

Intermediate Microsoft Word
Includes some of Word’s advanced features including advanced editing tools, working with columns and tables, and utilizing mail merge.

Advanced Microsoft Word
This course will do into more detail on editing and formatting objects in your documents. Adding tables and working more detail with graphics. How to use Microsoft Word in collaboration with other programs (i.e. Microsoft Excel) will be taught in this class.

Beginning Microsoft Excel
Offers the basics in working with spreadsheets including how to create, edit and format spreadsheets, formulas and charts.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel
Covers Excel’s advanced features including working with databases, linking worksheets and workbooks, using advanced filters and running macros.

Advanced Microsoft Excel
Covers Excel’s advanced more advanced features including working with formulas with several operators. This course will cover creating pivot tables and inserting if statements.

Beginning Microsoft PowerPoint
Teaches participants to create a computer-generated slide show presentation from start to finish. Participants will create slides that include graphics, charts, transitions and timings.

Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
Includes PowerPoint’s advanced features such as inserting spreadsheets and tables into slides, adding animation or sound effects and using presentation techniques. Adding videos to presentations are also presented in this course.

Beginning Microsoft Access
This course covers the development of Access databases and its basic user functions. This class discusses how to create forms and reports as well as creating and sorting queries.

Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
Includes PowerPoint’s advanced features such as inserting spreadsheets and tables into slides, adding animation or sound effects and using presentation techniques. Adding videos to presentations are also presented in this course.

Beginning Microsoft Access
This course covers the development of Access databases and its basic user functions. This class discusses how to create forms and reports as well as creating and sorting queries.

Microsoft Publisher
This course teaches participants to create professional looking publications, including calendars, flyers, brochures, newsletters, business cards and greeting cards.

Microsoft Outlook
This course teaches participants how to utilize Outlook. In encompasses the day planning feature, color coded calendar, organizing contact information, creating journal entries and to do lists and organizing information within your email.
