National Folk Festival looking for student volunteers!

The National Folk Festival is coming to Nashville and recruiting young volunteers! September 2-4, Labor Day weekend, students can sign up to work in the Families Activities Area and on the Green Team. After working a four-hour shift, students will have access to all six of the festivals stages that will host some of the nation’s top musical acts. The Festival will provide clear age-appropriate work assignments, training, tee shirts, water and snacks.

This year's Honorary Festival chairs are Governor Bill Haslam, First Lady Crissy Haslam and Country legend Emmylou Harris.
The festival is produced by the National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA) and Nashville Folk and Roots, and is in partnership with the state of Tennessee, the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the Nashville Downtown Partnership, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
